reborn from a Berenguer playdoll
'Leonor'
Julie-Anne was the baby I created for the
ROSE artists guild Christmas auction
2007.
When I first started reborning there were
no blank vinyl kits so the Berenguer dolls were
the choice to reborn because they had just that
little bit more realism than an ordinary
doll.
These particular dolls are from the
Berenguer Special Edition series and were produced
in limited numbers with certificates of
authenticity.
Previously I had used oil paints on
the Berenguers I had reborned, so it was nice to
do another one using the heat set paints as they
are so different.
Julie-Ann is wearing a beautiful dress made
by the lovely Maria at Fairytalexx and the knitted
outfit was made by my lovely friend Rita (Rita's
Rascals Nursery)
